Caries prevention
Some moms and dads themselves do not particularly like brushing their teeth and do not make their children do it. It can also be different: parents make children rinse their mouths with mouthwashes. Because of these products, the enamel gets damaged and caries quickly destroys the little teeth.
It is also worth remembering that sugar is the best friend of caries. Even drinks that say `No sugar` on the packaging still contain this substance, albeit in smaller amounts. A mother from New Zealand gave her 3-year-old child sugar-free Coca-Cola, but as a result, the dentist had to pull out 11 of the boys teeth!
Causes of caries on childrens teeth:
√ Bacteria passed to the child from parents.
√ Illness and stress during pregnancy, use of antibiotics.
√ Inadequate nutrition
√ Failure to observe oral hygiene
√ Frequent and prolonged consumption of sweets
Here are a few recommendations from an experienced dentist. These recommendations will help avoid caries in children and adults.
Tooth caries prevention:
√ Regularly clean teeth not only with a brush but also with dental floss.
√ Never eat sweets as the last food. After sweets, you should eat hard fruits or vegetables, then rinse your mouth and chew gum.
√ Do not eat sweets or drink carbonated drinks between meals.
√ Never eat sweets at night.
√ Drink overly sweet or overly sour drinks through a straw.
Properly observe oral hygiene and you will not have such problems. It is worth reminding children about this too, so they do not forget to brush their teeth!
