The `Ladder` diet is becoming increasingly popular. This is due to the fact that it lasts only 5 days, it`s relatively easy to follow, and the weight loss is from 3 to 6 kg.
The `Ladder` diet
The basic principle of the diet is that each day is a specific step with a specific product. The relatively modest diet is selected with such food interaction to minimize harm to health, but make weight loss intensive.
The main rule of the `Ladder` diet is strict adherence to the menu, you must not change the order of products. Divide the food amount into 5-7 portions, drink water in between (at least 1.5 liters per day).

Steps of the `Ladder` diet
1. First step. Cleansing
The first day is preparing the body for the next stages. Apples cleanse the intestinal tract, and activated charcoal binds and removes all accumulated toxins from the body.
Menu: 1 kg of apples, 12 tablets of activated charcoal, 1.5 – 2 liters of water. It`s not necessary to eat the whole kilogram of apples: it`s quite possible that you won`t even want that much.
2. Second step. Restorative
The second day is protein. Thanks to cottage cheese and kefir, after cleansing, the intestinal tract microflora is actively restored.
Menu: 1 liter of fat-free kefir, 600 g of low-fat cottage cheese, 1.5 – 2 liters of water.
3. Third step. Energetic
On this day, you restore the energy lost in the previous 2 days. This helps avoid the plateau effect (when weight stops decreasing), which always occurs when following various diets.
Pay attention: don`t eat all the raisins at once, savor 5 raisins at a time, prolonging the pleasure throughout the day.
Menu: 2 tbsp. of honey, 300 g of raisins, 2 liters of dried fruit compote.
4. Fourth step. Building
Today, you saturate the body again with proteins, the building material for tissues. At the same time, the weight loss pace remains.
Menu: 500 g of boiled chicken fillet, parsley greens, 1.5 – 2 liters of water.
5. Fifth step. Burning
Fibers have few calories, but the body needs to expend a lot of energy to process them. Therefore, the fat layer burns actively. At this stage, you saturate the body with useful microelements and cleanse the intestinal tract.
Menu: only oatmeal cooked in water from 200 g of flakes, 1 kg (total weight) of any raw fruits and vegetables, 1.5 – 2 liters of water.
It is recommended to combine this diet with light physical activity, for example, yoga. To prevent the extra kilograms from returning, for several next days avoid large food portions, too fatty food, and sweet pastries.
