Our family loves salmon, especially lightly salted. A delicious snack that`s perfect for holidays or just to treat yourself on a gloomy day. It`s clear that the food isn`t cheap, but you have to pamper yourself somehow. I usually make enough so everyone is full. For a celebration, why not salt a whole kilogram at once?

We`re sharing with you a lightly salted salmon recipe that you`ll love. You can prepare everything in 15 minutes!

Ingredients

• 1 kg salmon
• 500 ml water
• 3 tablespoons salt
• 1 teaspoon sugar
• 5 tablespoons vegetable oil

Ingredients for serving

• 1 avocado
• lettuce leaves
• bread
• onions to taste
• melted cheese or cottage cheese spread
Preparation

1. I took frozen salmon in 0.5 kg blocks. You can also take fresh fish, but it`s cheaper this way, and you don`t have to portion the fish. Cut the fish into thin pieces if it was bought whole.
2. Now let`s prepare the marinade. Dissolve salt and sugar in boiled water. Pour this solution over the fish. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
3. Place the fish in a sieve to drain all the liquid. Then transfer the fish to a storage container and pour vegetable oil over it.
4. Of course, you can eat this delicacy straight from the container, but I like to serve it. It`s more satisfying and pleasing to the eye. I serve lightly salted salmon on bread.
Cut the bread into thin slices, which I spread with melted cheese or cottage cheese spread.
On top, I neatly arrange pieces of salmon and sliced avocado. Sprinkle everything with green onions. Who would refuse such beauty?
The snacks turn out great: tasty, aromatic, and with bread - very filling. I love to delight my family and myself, because life needs more celebrations.
