This man was seriously injured in an accident in Afghanistan, it happened just three months before the birth of their second child. He couldn`t physically support his wife, but found another way to help her.
This man seems to feel everything his wife is feeling at this moment.
This woman decided to give birth without painkillers. When the photographer asked her if she would hire a doula, she replied: ”I don`t need it, my husband is my birth coach”.
A husband who doesn`t step away from his wife as she gives birth and holds her hands the whole time.
You become a father from the moment the child is born.
”Joe was my support. Strong, calm, and stable. He really knew how to help me, even without my instructions, as if he were telepathic!”
He reminded his wife every minute how strong she is and that she will get through this challenge.
”I`ve never seen such a gentle and attentive guy during childbirth,” said the photographer.
Support that is more effective than any anesthesia.
”My wife endured long and agonizing pain for more than 20 hours, basically without anesthesia, because the only available anesthesiologist was busy with a serious operation. There were complications from the epidural anesthesia, spinal fluid started leaking... Those are the worst pains! Before they performed the C-section, I thought about our three unsuccessful pregnancies and all the pain we`ve been through. That`s why I was angry and sad, because I wanted my wife – my best friend – to win. I wanted us to win!”
Unimaginable attention and calmness.
This dad was very nervous during childbirth. But after talking to the nurse and doctor, he calmed down and realized he had to do something unimaginable – and he did it! The man practically pulled out his son and placed him on his mother`s chest!
This man woke up at two in the morning when his wife started having contractions, and caught his beautiful boy.
