When Becky Pope from the UK gave birth to her baby, she decided that if she couldn`t help all new moms, she could at least warn them about the problems they might encounter.
Her Facebook post "20 things you need to know after you`ve just `pushed out` a baby" has garnered a lot of likes and been shared by many new mothers.

Let`s take a look at what Becky wants to warn every woman about.
1. Intense pain. Not only during childbirth but also after. You`ll face countless procedures that will be very unpleasant and painful. For example, when the midwife massages your uterus to expel everything remaining.
2. The first urination. If you take a bit of warm water and pour it on the sore spot. It will reduce the discomfort, but not by much.
3. The first trip to the toilet. If you think all the suffering is behind you – don`t rush to celebrate. The first time you go to the toilet `for a big one` after childbirth will be painful. It will feel like you`re giving birth to another baby. And nothing comes out, except possibly the rectum, which is entirely possible, especially after tears.
4. It seems like all babies are very cute. Not so! Your baby will look like a wrinkled old man`s scary face. But you`ll still be thrilled looking at him.
5. If you have a boy, his genitals might confuse you. But don`t worry, the swelling in the testicles will go down, which compared to the `little thing` seem gigantic, it will even out over time.
6. The baby`s first poops. Yes, they will be special and more like tar than human feces. Oh yes, the nurse will of course come and check how you`re handling it.
7. The first shower. Right after childbirth, you`ll feel like you`ll always walk with your legs spread. But after the shower, it will get easier. No, really, it`s like you`re washing away all sins and starting a new life.
8. Midwives love babies a lot. Be prepared that they will come to you, take your baby, massage his tummy, squeeze his testicles... And don`t think it`s weird, they do it to make the baby feel better.
9. You`ll think the baby hates you and only cries in your arms. As if warning that he`ll ruin your life. That`s a joke, of course, but the feeling will be just like that.
10. The baby will fart, burp, and hiccup. He`ll also make very strange, sometimes even scary sounds. But you`ll hope others understand who`s making those sounds. Although you`ll have to deal with gas problems too...
11. Be prepared that all your acquaintances will decide to visit you in the maternity ward. Everyone likes visiting hospitals, especially when a little baby is born. They feel special entering the room. But since you won`t look ideal, try to limit visits to only the closest ones.
12. Your belly will be like a balloon that won`t let out all the air. But when it finally does, you`ll have extra skin hanging where your abs used to be.
13. Midwives will constantly ask if your milk has come in. Some will even come to you and try to squeeze it out of your breast. And your breasts will hurt unrealistically, you can believe that.
14. If everything is fine with you and your baby, they`ll try to discharge you as soon as possible. And you`ll want that too. But don`t rush, because the hardest challenges await you at home... The baby will act like you know what he wants. And then there won`t be anyone to help. You practically won`t have time to sleep. Now you`re your baby`s slave!
15. Don`t worry, everyone goes through this. And you don`t need to be a superwoman to be a good mother. Just listen to your intuition. Because maternal instinct has never failed anyone. You`ll be the ideal mom for your baby in any case.
If you`ve given birth to a child, then everything else is definitely within your power! The main thing is to be patient and forget about sleep.
