Inflammation – a very unpleasant problem in terms of sensation and from an aesthetic point of view, which often bothers us on hot days. Its wrong to think that it only arises from shaving or depilation. Sweating, tight clothes, active sun, insect bites, and other factors provoke skin reactions in the form of redness, itching, small rashes, and pigmentation.

We will tell you how to soothe the skin in a short time using means available to everyone.
How to remove rashes
Inflammation on the face and all over the skin is the result of both external and internal factors. We note right away that if there are no external irritants, you should immediately see a doctor. The cause may be hormonal disorders, infections, the use of products and medicinal preparations.
If you discover inflammation on the skin, do not scratch the rashes or squeeze pimples. Do not try to mask the inflammation, especially on the face, with decorative cosmetics, as this will worsen the situation even more.
How to remove rashes
1. Toothpaste
Ordinary toothpaste, especially with a soothing effect for gums or sensitive teeth, is SOS remedy No. 1. However, keep in mind that you need to check the skin reaction. For this purpose, apply a little toothpaste to the wrist or elbow bend for 5–10 minutes, then wash it off and look at the skin reaction. If everything is fine, you can use the paste to combat inflammation and many other skin problems.
So, apply a layer of toothpaste to the affected skin area with rashes or pigment spots from the sun. The content of menthol, eucalyptus, and various soothing components in the composition will help normalize the skin condition, as well as lighten spots from excessive sun exposure. Wash off the paste after 5 minutes with room temperature water. Then be sure to apply a moisturizing cream.
However, do not abuse toothpaste, as it is not a facial care product. We also do not recommend using it to remove inflammation in the bikini area after shaving.
2. Herbs
Its worth paying attention to herbs such as chamomile, calendula, celandine, St. Johns wort. Pour boiling water over one or more herbs and let them infuse. You can rub or rinse the inflamed areas with the decoction, but even better – make ice. Simply an excellent option for summer, especially in cases of sweating and insect bites.
You can also make compresses from decoctions: soak gauze or a cotton swab with the herbal infusion and apply to the inflamed area for 15–20 minutes. The decoction should be at room temperature to avoid scalding or overcooling the skin.
3. Cucumber
Cucumber is actively used in cosmetology because it has excellent toning, moisturizing, and soothing properties. If there is inflammation, especially on the face, grate the cucumber and apply the pulp to the face for 20 minutes. The skin will not only calm down but also be moisturized.
You can also make ice cubes from cucumber pulp. This is especially good for men after shaving and for women after eyebrow plucking, facial hair removal, or against rashes.
Here are such simple and accessible remedies that will help you soothe inflamed skin. We recommend spending as little time as possible in the active sun, and also giving up synthetic clothes so that the skin can breathe and not sweat so much. Very often, it is chafing that is the cause of inflammation.
