The popularity of this root vegetable among those losing weight is fully deserved: it`s available year-round, you can buy it at the nearest store for pennies, but most importantly – the beet diet is easy, fast, and very effective.

We share with you two beet diet options: for 7 and 3 days! By including this simple product in your daily diet for just one week, you`ll get rid of those hated kilograms, strengthen your immunity, and normalize your gastrointestinal tract function.
Beets for weight loss
It`s no secret that almost every weight loss diet includes following a drinking regimen – it`s recommended to drink 6-7 glasses of pure water per day. Beets can be boiled, baked in the oven, stewed, or made into healthy dietary juice.
Heat treatment in no way affects the content of beneficial substances in the root vegetable, but digestibility and taste after cooking are much better.
Beet diet for 7 days
This weekly diet features a fairly balanced nutrition. In addition to beets, you can eat lean meat, poultry, fermented dairy products, vegetables except potatoes, fruits (better to avoid bananas and grapes). To prepare beet salads, you can use cabbage, carrots, tomatoes, celery, nuts, prunes, raisins, dressing from vegetable oil.
1. First day
Breakfast: portion of boiled rice and beet salad. Lunch: steamed lean fish and boiled beets in slices. Dinner: vinaigrette.
2. Second day
Breakfast: steamed omelet with beet and carrot salad. Lunch: boiled chicken fillet with beet caviar. Dinner: vegetable stew with beets.
3. Third day
Breakfast: cottage cheese and beet salad with apple. Lunch: vegetable soup and beet salad. Dinner: steamed lean fish with stewed vegetables.
4. Fourth day
Breakfast: buckwheat with beet salad. Lunch: portion of beet soup with salad. Dinner: salad of beets, plums, and nuts.
5. Fifth day
Breakfast: cereal flakes with low-fat yogurt and boiled beets. Lunch: steamed chicken cutlet, rice, and beet salad. Dinner: beet smoothie with kefir.
6. Sixth day
Breakfast: toast with Adyghe cheese and tomatoes, beet salad. Lunch: baked fish and salad of beets and cabbage. Dinner: vegetable casserole and beet juice.
7. Seventh day
Breakfast: muesli and vegetable salad. Lunch: vegetable soup and stewed beets. Dinner: light salad of beets and carrots.
Following this diet, by the end of the week, the weight loss will be 4-5 kg! If the nutrition plan suits you, you can extend the diet duration to 10 days.
Beet diet for 3 days
For three days, you should eat only salads. To prepare the daily norm, you`ll need 400-500 g beets, 300-400 g carrots, and 300 g fresh apples. Grate all products, mix, drizzle with lemon juice, and add a few spoons of low-fat yogurt or 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
It`s very important not to forget to follow the drinking regimen. By the way, considering the root vegetable`s laxative properties, such fasting days should be done on weekends or during vacation.
The main thing - after the beneficial beet diet, you need to avoid spontaneous transition to fatty and harmful foods. Try to revise your menu to reduce calorie intake, and the beet diet will help you.
It`s not strict, doesn`t exclude proteins, fats, and carbohydrates, so transitioning from the diet to your usual nutrition will be much easier. Weight loss with beets - an invaluable benefit for the whole body!
