Recently, the popular American singer Lady Gaga posted a photo on her Instagram profile taken in a hospital ward. The star is lying in bed, with a doctor`s hand on her shoulder. The tired Gaga writes:

`Today is a tough day for me because of chronic pain, but I am grateful that excellent female doctors are helping me. I also think about Joanne, about how strong she was, and I start to feel better.`

Joanne is the singer`s favorite aunt, who died in 1974 at the age of 19. In her honor, Lady Gaga named her sixth studio album, Joanne, which was released this October. The pop diva herself also suffers from this disease - a serious autoimmune illness where the body`s antibodies damage DNA in healthy cells, primarily connective tissues.

The star`s confession sparked a very rapid reaction from her fans, who wrote her words of support and shared experiences in fighting chronic pain. The singer did not leave the concerned commenters without a response and once again addressed Instagram users with a very long post:
I was so stunned by all these stories about chronic pain and confessions that I thought: `Oh God, maybe I should share my 5-year experience in fighting this problem. Each of us has our own case and, of course, the first thing is that you need to consult a doctor. However, I can give some advice. When strong spasms started in my body, infrared sauna helped me greatly. I invested money in one of the companies that deals with it. Some saunas are designed as large boxes, some as beds, and there are also saunas with thermal blankets! You can always look for the nearest center with an infrared sauna, or a center that deals with homeopathy in your region. I combine this method using a silver `first aid blanket` - it is cheap, can be reused, and helps maintain body detox and get rid of extra kilograms.`
`To avoid overheating and not cause inflammation, after the procedure I go into a cold bath or shower (if you can endure it, it is worth it), or apply frozen food from the fridge to the painful areas. I hope this helps some of you! It helps me continue doing things I like and work even on those days when it is hard to get out of bed. I love you and thank you all for the nice messages!`
