Henry was stunned. It was clear that his wife`s words hurt him:

— I didn`t even suspect... But what does ”important reason” mean?

— The first time almost right after the wedding. Remember, we couldn`t make the next payment and almost lost our little house? I went to the banker that evening, and the next day we received a notice that our credit was extended.

Henry replayed the events in his mind and said:

— You saved our house, I can forgive you... But what was the second time?

— Then you were seriously ill and we didn`t have money to pay for the heart surgery. I went to the surgeon and, if you remember, he performed the surgery on you for free.

Henry became gloomier than a storm cloud:

— I remember... You saved my life, so I forgive you. Now tell me about the third time.

— Okay. Remember, you wanted to become the golf club president and you were short 73 votes?

That`s when Henry lost consciousness...
