“Money loves you, but only as a friend,” - a playful phrase that, unfortunately, reflects the financial situation of many people. Problems with money are on the same level as love addiction and bodily disorders, but spotting, understanding, and solving them is much harder.

In our society, it`s almost acceptable to take pride in poverty, while wealth is usually associated with villains. This poisons rational relationships with money even for those who are trying hard to make conscious changes in their lives.

There is even the concept of financial health – the absence of excessive tension in relation to one`s own, and even more so, others` money. These are certain life beliefs that help quickly overcome poverty, while not highlighting one`s prosperity as something supernatural.

Such people are often happy and do not judge those around them by their financial status, because for them money is a means to life, not its meaning.

Financial health is based on 4 principles that need to be mastered to not stay at the poverty level for long. We will tell you about them.
Attitude towards money

1. Money is not evil

The most common opinion about money is that it is evil. So much talk about how money corrupts people, makes them abandon loved ones, and is obtained only through deceit. But a bad attitude towards those who earn a lot, set high prices for their goods and services. We hear such talks from childhood, and resisting them is quite difficult.
The belief `money is evil` signals an inability to earn the desired amount of money for a comfortable life. Such life views hide from the person the fact that their own laziness, low education level, or unwillingness to keep up with the times prevents them from changing the situation. It`s an excuse that helps justify oneself.

The main thing is to find the courage to recognize your weaknesses and, rolling up your sleeves, work a lot on them. As soon as you free yourself from the distorted attitude towards money, you can immediately climb upwards in your field of activity. Interestingly, even businessmen live with the stance that a lot of money is bad and will be condemned, so they do not develop their business to the full extent or choose bankruptcy.
2. Money is not great

Along with the neurosis `money is evil` there exists the neurosis `money is everything`. If you feel good only when you have a lot of money and only with those who have it, that`s bad. Excessive love for money promises psychological disorders. For example, you have huge sums in your account, but you try to get even more to boast in front of those who will appreciate it.

In the end, you realize that you cannot create something truly valuable on savings or buy health for a loved one. And what you fought for all your life simply loses meaning.

Money is a luxurious tool, but nothing more. Everyone needs a goal. At first, it`s understandable – to get out of poverty, but then it`s worth asking a simple question: `What next?`. Until you have a clear answer, you are unlikely to live happily. Create, direct funds to charity or a truly interesting cause, but it`s not worth saving money just to show off your prosperity.
3. Money needs to be earned

How many people do not want to admit the fact that money needs to be earned. This is the main sign of financial health damage. Very many people, especially youth, want a lot of money and to spend it, not earn it. They are convinced that big money cannot be earned honestly or with their talent, so they don`t even start.

Passive income is the fulfillment of our society`s dreams. There`s nothing wrong with it, but it doesn`t allow development. For example, you bought an apartment and rent it out. You satisfy your needs with that money and that`s it. Unrealized energy starts to eat you up and intensifies all internal doubts.

But what if suddenly your business manager plays a double role or the national currency rate falls and you can no longer live peacefully abroad on the money from the rented apartment in the capital? As a result, you get unaccustomed to work and in a stressful situation, you are unable to find a quick solution to the problem.
4. Money needs to be spent

We need money for a comfortable life and confidence in tomorrow. However, stinginess is a neurosis. It`s not normal to hide money under the mattress and wait for the mythical rainy day. Respecting one`s own efforts at work that bring money, a person without financial neurosis respects the work of other people. It`s normal to pay for goods and services, that is, to spend.

But money is just a tool. It needs to be earned by realizing your skills and knowledge and spent just as easily, including investing in your development, business expansion, or charity. You must not become dependent on money, otherwise it will have power over you. And that has never ended well.
Financial health is the foundation of your well-being. It`s important to stop looking for those to blame for your poverty or insufficient amount of money. Find time to work on yourself: figure out why something doesn`t work out for you, think about what you could do.

Perhaps the reason is your wrong worldviews and it`s enough to slightly change your attitude towards money for it to want to establish close relationships with you.
