Christmas is a very special holiday. We all expect some miracle on this day, and sometimes it really happens. On December 24, Christmas Eve, the Hermanstorfer family was expecting a new addition. The older brothers, Austin and Canyon, were not taken to the hospital, but they were also eagerly awaiting the birth of their little brother.

Mike - the head of the family - was present during the birth to support his wife Tracy. Nothing indicated the impending disaster... When the contractions started, the experienced mother bravely endured them. Doctors still can`t understand why it had such a tragic outcome. In one moment, Mike felt that something was wrong, and a few minutes later he heard the horrific sound of the machine, indicating that his wife`s heart had stopped...

The doctors tried as hard as they could to bring Tracy back to life, but 4 minutes later, deciding that it was no longer possible to save the woman`s life, they began trying to save the baby`s life. Mike heard nothing. All the sounds around turned into noise. The man simply did not take his eyes off his wife`s body while the doctors cut her abdomen to pull the baby out...

When the baby was taken out, it turned out that they had not managed to save him. He didn`t start crying like newborn babies do. All the doctors` efforts proved futile. They placed the baby`s body in the father`s arms so he could say goodbye, but then something unexpected happened...

The baby started breathing, and a few seconds later began crying so loudly that no one had any doubts about whether he was alive. But that`s not all... The doctors were about to cover Tracy`s body with a sheet when they heard her heart beating.

No one could explain this phenomenon, but the Hermanstorfer family doesn`t need explanations. They are completely satisfied with the understanding that they are all together, and the baby born then grew up healthy and strong. And every time they are asked if they believe in miracles, their family tells this story.
