We are eager to share a simple recipe for a sweet treat with our dear readers. Flaky buns with kefir will outshine even the beloved `Napoleon` in taste! They are not difficult to prepare, because unlike puff pastry, dough with kefir does not require long resting in the fridge.

How to make flaky buns
Dough ingredients
• 240 g flour
• 125 g butter
• 125 g kefir
• 5 g baking powder
Ingredients for crumbs
• 80 g flour
• 100 g sugar
• 70 g butter
Preparation
1. First, prepare the dough. In a deep bowl, mix flour and baking powder, then sift through a sieve.
2. Grate cold butter on a coarse grater and combine with flour until crumbs form.
3. Add kefir to the crumbs and knead into a uniform dough.
4. Wrap the finished dough in plastic wrap and place in the fridge for an hour.
5. Time to make the sweet crumbs. In a deep bowl, sift flour and mix with sugar.
6. Add grated butter and quickly rub everything into crumbs. Cover the bowl and place the crumbs in the fridge.
7. After an hour, remove the dough from the fridge and divide into equal-sized pieces (this will determine the number of layers in the buns). The crumbs also need to be divided into equal parts accordingly.
8. Roll out one piece of dough and evenly sprinkle with one portion of crumbs. Then place another rolled-out layer of dough on top of the crumb layer.
9. Following this principle, assemble a small cake and cut it into equal pieces.
10. Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
Before serving, be sure to sprinkle the buns with powdered sugar.
