Kolkhoz cutlets are simple to prepare, but they turn out very tasty. All because one ingredient is added to the meat. By the way, this recipe is very much liked by the famous chef Ilya Lazerson. We will tell you how to prepare these cutlets.
Cutlets with bread

INGREDIENTS

1 kg ground meat
1 loaf of hard white bread or baguette
1 onion
Ground black pepper
salt
garlic
vegetable oil
PREPARATION

1. Soak the bread crumb in water for 1-2 minutes and squeeze it out. Thanks to this ingredient, the cutlets will not fall apart, and the taste will be simply divine.
2. It`s better, of course, to prepare the ground meat yourself, but you can also use store-bought. Add the soaked bread to the meat. Remember: the bread after soaking should be 40% of the ground meat`s weight. That`s the difference in these cutlets.
3. Grind the onion in a meat grinder and add to the meat. Also add salt, garlic (if desired), and spices. Mix everything. Put in the refrigerator for an hour.

4. Shape the cutlets. Fry them in vegetable oil. If desired, you can roll them in breadcrumbs.

5. Bon appetit!
This recipe has been tested through generations. By the way, you can add finely chopped bell peppers, carrots, or zucchini to the meat. Then the cutlets will be even juicier and spicier. But if you prefer chicken meat, we recommend preparing fireman`s cutlets according to the classic recipe.
