A loving owner spares nothing for their pet. They buy the best food and allow much more than permitted. Why does the fluffy rascal jump out of your arms when the urge to cuddle them overwhelms you? Sometimes, you really want to feel gratitude from your pet for the care.
Felines love their owners but show their affection in less obvious ways than, for example, dogs. We invite you to pay attention to the purring one`s behavior. Perhaps they constantly demonstrate their sympathy, but the owner doesn`t notice it.

Kneading with paws
Kneading, alternating with paws and extending claws, is one of the truest expressions of love. This cute habit originates from the early childhood of the purring one, when as a kitten, they massaged their mom`s belly to stimulate milk production. Kneading with paws means the fluffy one feels safe and is as comfortable with the owner as they were with mom.
Greets at the door
If, upon returning home, the cat runs towards you, happily rubs against you and purrs, and sometimes even involuntarily starts meowing, it`s a sign that the whiskered friend has missed their owner a lot and wants a dose of attention and love. But if the kitty follows you around, they fear the owner will leave again, so they don`t want to let the owner out of sight.
Turns its back
Don`t be offended by the cat if it turns its back to the owner. Many mistakenly think cats demonstrate contempt this way, but actually, it`s the opposite. It means the tailed friend feels completely safe in the person`s presence. And if the fluffy one also lifts its tail, offering to sniff, it`s a sign of respect and trust.
Shows its belly
The belly is the cat`s most vulnerable and sensitive spot. Therefore, if the fluffy one lies on its back and starts rolling from side to side, it means it trusts the owner and wants attention. When the pet shows its belly, allowing you to pet the tummy, and purrs contentedly, it`s an obvious sign of true love and deep attachment.
Allows touching the tail
Another important part of the cat`s body that it tries to protect is the tail. Purring ones rarely show the back part of their body to a person, allowing the tail to be touched. Obviously, if you grab an animal by the tail, it can`t escape, so it`s better not to risk it with unfamiliar animals, otherwise you might get into trouble.
Gently bites
A cat`s bite isn`t always hostile. Often, cats demonstrate their love during play, and the cat may lightly grip your hand with teeth and even scratch. If the purring one is relaxed, rolls onto its back, gently bites and purrs contentedly, then it accepts the owner as one of its own. But if the kitty starts scratching hard and kicking with its legs, that`s already an expression of aggression.
Brings gifts
Don`t forget that cats are hunters. If the owner finds a bird or mouse in bed, it means the tailed pet is demonstrating its love and gratitude for the attention and care. Under no circumstances should you scold the purring one for its action, otherwise it might get offended.
Stares for a long time
In nature, cats are not fans of prolonged eye contact and often perceive it as a threat. However, with the owner, this form of communication signifies absolute trust in the person. But if the kitty slowly blinks and squints its eyes, you can be sure the cat is thrilled with its owner and gives a unique `cat kiss.` Of course, this is the highest expression of love.
However, one must consider that each animal has its own unique temperament and character. Perhaps the purring one demonstrates sympathy in a completely rare and phenomenal way. Who better than the owner to understand their pet from half a purr?
