Today we have prepared a small recipe for you that will definitely help make your holiday table more original. And although the cold fish appetizers we`ve selected are quite simple to prepare, we`re confident that each one will pleasantly surprise not only you but also your guests (even the most pampered ones).

Fish appetizers
Herring appetizer recipe
INGREDIENTS
• 300 g salted herring fillet
• small bunch of green onions
• 2 cucumbers
• 250 g sour cream
• 100 ml water
• 1 tsp. gelatin
• salt to taste
• ground black pepper to taste
PREPARATION
1. First, peel the cucumbers and cut into cubes, and also chop the onions.
2. Then, clean the herring fillet from bones and skin, cut into cubes, then mix the fish with cucumbers and onions.
3. Dissolve the gelatin in water and mix with sour cream. Once you get a homogeneous mass, pour the sour cream into the bowl with the other ingredients. Add salt, ground black pepper and mix everything thoroughly.
4. Finally, just portion the appetizer into glasses and put in the refrigerator to cool completely. You can put the appetizer in one large silicone mold and cut it with a knife after it sets.
Appetizer recipe with smoked salmon fillet
INGREDIENTS
• 150 g lightly salted salmon fillet
• 200 g cream cheese
• small bunch of dill
• 2 tbsp water
• 1 tbsp gelatin
• 1/2 cucumber
• 1/4 red bell pepper
• 3 tbsp olive oil
• 2 tbsp lemon juice
PREPARATION
1. Cut the salmon fillet into pieces, then blend in a blender and mix with cream cheese into a homogeneous mass. Also chop the dill and add to the obtained mass.
2. Then take a small container and heat water in it. Add gelatin to the water and heat the mixture over low heat until the gelatin melts.
3. Prepare silicone molds by greasing them with vegetable oil. Then quickly mix the gelatin with the fish mass and fill it into the molds. Next, cover the molds with plastic wrap and put the appetizer in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
4. Serve the finished appetizer with vegetables. Cut the vegetables into small cubes and fry in olive oil over medium heat for 5 minutes. Finally, add lemon juice to the vegetable mixture.
Appetizer with Atlantic salmon
INGREDIENTS
• 4 avocados
• 140 g salmon
• 140 g shrimp
• 2 cucumbers
• 4 tbsp mayonnaise
PREPARATION
1. Peel the avocados and remove the pit from the fruit. Cut part of the avocado into thin strips, and mash the remaining pulp.
2. Take a saucepan, pour water into it and bring to a boil. Put the shrimp in the boiling water and cook them for 5 minutes. Then remove them and clean from the shell, leaving only the tails.
3. Then cut the salmon into small pieces and mix them with the mashed avocado pulp, adding mayonnaise.
4. Wash the cucumbers and cut them into approximately 2cm thick slices and cut out the pulp from the middle. Place the cucumber slices on a plate and put 1 teaspoon of filling in each. Top with a shrimp and decorate the appetizer with an avocado piece.
