How to diagnose cancer

1. The diagnosis was announced over the phone

A very common deception trick that many unfortunate people, most often pensioners, still fall for. Scammers act very precisely, quickly, and coordinated. Upon learning that a person has recently submitted tests, they find their phone number in databases and call with terrible news: ”Your tests were sent to our clinic. We have to tell you that you have cancer…”

In such a shocking situation, the unfortunate person on the other end of the line loses composure and the ability to think clearly. Elderly people are ready to withdraw all the funds accumulated over a long life and give them to a courier who arrives in a few minutes.

The first thing to do in such a situation – hang up and call your treating doctor, explain the situation, and clarify the tests. An experienced medical worker will immediately confirm that there is no cancer, someone just wanted to deceive you.
2. The local polyclinic lab technician looked at the tests and exclaimed: ”You have cancer!”

Cancer diagnosis – it`s not a 5-minute job. It is a long and thorough process, on which further treatment and the patient`s fate depend.
3. The diagnosis was made in a private clinic after submitting tests

Unfortunately, even the most advertised private clinics are often dishonest. After the patient has submitted tests, they call and announce the unpleasant news, claiming they are ready to rid you of the problem if treatment starts immediately.

”The main thing is not to let it progress,” – they claim on the other end of the line. If you doubt the diagnosis, submit tests to several laboratories, talk to an oncologist you trust, and only then make an important decision.
4. The fortune teller said

We won`t deny that psychological well-being is an integral part of successful oncological treatment. Believe in the power of folk medicine? To your health, use the services of herbalists and healers, because the main thing is to believe in healing with all your heart.

But if some fortune teller diagnosed you and after half a year miraculously healed your body from the disease, most likely there was no cancer. The art of suggestion is a fantastic thing!
5. ”Hello! We launched innovative equipment, it scanned your brain”

It happens like that too. Not long ago, Moscow residents complained about scammer calls: ”We launched new equipment, it flies over your district and scans all people. You have a tumor detected…” It seems, who would believe that? But the unfortunate believe and are ready to part with their last pennies just to get rid of the disease.
Remember once and for all! Only an oncologist has the right to make the final oncological diagnosis, but of course, not without the help of other specialists. Hematologists, histologists, and for example, nephrologists participate in the diagnosis, who can only assume the possibility of the terrible disease and refer for further examination.

The smartest thing – take responsibility for your health and don`t listen to anyone (except your treating doctor, of course). Remember that early diagnosis is your chance for a long and happy life!
