Amy Rouski is only 19 years old, but at this young age she has had to endure a lot. She suffers from a severe, chronic stomach and intestinal tract disease – Crohn`s. At 15 years old, the disease worsened and surgery was necessary.

Many think it`s just periodic stomach pains, but in reality I had to endure countless procedures, including surgery. The disease left me with a stoma for life – an intestine diverted through the abdominal cavity. Therefore, I have to walk all the time with a special bag where all my waste accumulates. Despite all these trials that have befallen me, I always feel confident about myself. However, I know that very many people who suffer from this disease are ashamed of themselves and worry a lot about this topic. Strangers will never find out about your special condition unless you tell them yourself, but true friends and relatives will love you and consider you beautiful as before.
